What’s your role at Headwater and how long have you been with the team?
My current role at Headwater is Property Manager and I have been with the company since September 2022.
What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day for me consists of multiple tasks, and varies based on the day of the month. The first week of the month is usually answering tenants questions regarding paying rent, sending out late notices and following up with delinquency. Throughout the month is more about juggling tenant issues, assigning work orders to contractors and scheduling them with tenants, and listing available properties, scheduling tours and processing applications.
What’s your favorite part of working at Headwater?
My favorite part of working at Headwater is definitely the fantastic team that I work with. I love that we are all local and grew up in generally the same area and now are working together in the real estate world. I also love the fact that we work remotely, have control of our own schedules and help each other out on a daily basis.
Do you have a favorite project or property you’ve worked on? Why?
One of my favorite properties is Summerwind Villas because they are beautifully renovated, have a unique floorplan and are located in rural Moneta near SML. I love the drive out there because it is so beautiful! The views from The Meadows in Glade Hill are extraordinary as well-the surrounding fields and mountains are breathtaking!
What’s something people might not know about your job or the Headwater team?
Most of us went to Franklin County High School and still have a lot of connections to this area. We like to use local contractors as we all can benefit from this.
What do you love about living/working in this area?
I love living and working in this area because of the small-town feel, the friendly people and being close to my family.
If you could give one tip to a new client (buyer, tenant, studio renter), what would it be
